A1:

I usually devote somewhere between 25 - 50 hours a week to SEO depending on the client workload and my own personal time availability (for my personal site).

I think you can be very successful with your SEO efforts working on them 1 hour a day so long as you are consistent and focused on what you do.

Start the week off with developing 4 or 5 goals for your SEO initiatives for the week and go and attack.

Good point - plus, what is it about tattoos that worries us so much? What exactly is the message that we are concerned they are sending? Sure, I might not want one for myself, and I have seen tattoos that might have been more carefully considered before inked permanently, but we live in a world where tattoos are much more common than they once were and don't immediately call to mind gangs or prison or worse. Maybe it's time to take a step back and be less concerned about what other people choose to do with their bodies and worry only about the health of our own. Thanks for the food for thought.

Comment on Schweppes App Transforms Your Profile Page Into Art by Laurens

Dear Emile,

Thanks for your great article, it's interesting to see how you look at the Schweppes Profile App project. We've put a lot of work in creating and spreading it, so it's good to see that people are talking about it.

To inform you what's happening right now:

1. Big push in fans
2. The audience pushes Schweppes as a likeable brand,
3. Viral spread across blogs, news sites, forums, Twitter etc.

So for Schweppes this is mainly a branding and awareness thing, which is important to them. Increasing the fan base is nice and for sure there will be fans that like Schweppes because of the app and not sincerely because of the brand and/or its products. But as you mention: it gives the brand an opportunity to start interacting with the audience in order to shift the brand’s image and indeed become more than just another beverage company.

Thanks,

Laurens Bianchi

I've invested more time in Facebook and probably enjoy it more for this reason. Twitter's quick news style is a good read as well. Thanks for the article!
