Coca-Cola delivers Happiness Truck
Coca-Cola has released videos of their “Happiness Truck” on their Facebook page today. Watch the video here: http://www.facebook.com/BreakMediaGroup
Designed after their “Happiness Machine,” which gave out free Coke bottles and multiple merchandise objects, Coca-Cola decided to revamp this campaign by creating a “Happiness Truck.” Instead of being set in a college situation, the “Happiness Truck” begins in Rio de Janeiro where it stops and hands out soccer balls, beach towels, sunglasses, and of course Coke beverages.

Superbowl Social Media Recap – Mercedes Winner
We all know how important the Superbowl is, yet Superbowl commercials always trump the actual game. Mostly because the event has become a social gathering more than watching an important game of Football. We can’t all agree on the two teams that have made it to the final so instead, we discuss the exclusive commercials.
This year’s batch of commercials were entertaining to say the least. Some were funny, some were emotional, and some were even shocking (I’m not talking about you Groupon,) but the main thing that stuck out for us was the lack of social media implementation. What happened? Where were the calls to action to follow on Twitter and Facebook? Why did no one have a commercial that tied into a social media platform? We can’t really figure that one out! However, we can talk about who succeeded the most at getting their numbers up.

Voice-to-Tweet service launched by Google to help people in Egypt.
Google, Twitter, and SayNow (recently purchased by Google) worked hard this weekend to create a service where voicemails translate into Tweets. By calling and leaving a voicemail on one of three international phone numbers: +16504194196 or +390662207294 or +97316199855, Google and Twitter made tweeting easier for people in Egypt without any Internet connection.
